World Cup Snowshoe – DH team report

So close, but not close enough. These words sum up our week on the Snowshoe Mountain that hosted two rounds of the downhill World Cup. As Jure was injured, we only had Žak on the races, and both times he qualified just outside of the top-60.

No luck and no finals for Žak this time around, which is a shame as he showed great times on the practice sessions and also rode fast lines. His qualification for the race 1 had so bigger mistakes, but we can’t say the same for the second race. Still, time knows no mercy and he wasn’t fast enough.

This is first elite season for Žak and he already showed some great runs, so it’s time to go back home and do hard work in the winter.
