Podium weekend in Croatia

Three riders, two locations in Croatia, three international events & three podiums.

iXS European Cup Lošinj

Jure & Žak also started their iXS EDC season, with the first round on Lošinj – the venue that already hosted World Cup in the past. The conditions were not in favor of the riders, with everything from heavy rain to sun, fortunately both timed runs took place in the sunny and drier conditions.

Saturday qualifications were fantastic, with Jure setting the fastest time and Žak finishing in 5th. Super finals on Sunday were slightly less fantastic, with both of our riders having small issues on the track and loosing some time. Žak finished in 10th place, Jure was 2nd – still very respectable results!

iXS EDC season continues in Maribor in May.

Kamenjak Rocky Trails

Traditional XCO/marathon event on the very tip of Istrian peninsula is a classic stop for Tanja’s race season. As always, the main goal was to do a good race on XCO C1 event on Saturday.

Tanja had a very good start and took the early lead, by at around the middle of the race she lost the lead to Lejla Tanović and stayed in 2nd till the finish. Tanja didn’t feel as strong as a week before when she took the race in Vrtojba, but still managed to come home with a great result.

Tanja also entered the marathon race on Sunday (UCI C2) and won that with a great margin, so that rounded up a great weekend!
